Akbar Padamsee's art journey begins with his first solo exhibition, which he held in Paris in 1952.

His paintings are mostly geometric or proportional, which also have euphemisms of folk art.

He set up a "Vision Exchange Workshop" for artists and filmmakers.

He also produced some short films such as "Syzygy". This is a living adaptation of his geometric depiction.

He started his art with anatomy - mainly from the face, he appeared in his art from time to time in various shades of color or black color.

He has also shown good talent in sculpture. Although he is not an abstract artist, he has created some paintings as examples of abstract painting which he calls "Metascope".

His art is highly sensitive. By applying color to different brushes or knives in his paintings, he has created a special surface texture, which makes many of his pictures look like a burning bush.
